Bricks Day 13 + Plaster Finished

Friday 12th December

The brickies finished a section up to the eves around the back of of house and the plasterers finished inside.

The plasters were there until past 7pm again!!

Thursday December 11th

The whole house got plastered today! It's amazing how different it looks with walls, we can really feel the space now. More brickwork was done today, above the front door, and a lintel erected above the garage.

Plasterers were still there working at 7.00pm

Scaffold Errected

Wednesday 10th December

Scaffolding was erected around the perimeter of the house so the brick layers can complete the top 3rd of the house

 

Bricks Day 11 + Window Installation and Scaffold Delivery

Tuesday 9th December

Brickwork continued around the rear of the house including the alfresco column.  All of the door and window brick sills were also installed.

 

 
We noticed that the last of the big window panes near the dining table had been installed.

 Later in the afternoon a load of scaffolding was delivered.

Bricks Day 10 - Gararge and Wall Insulation

Monday 8th December

Brinks continued around the front of the house mainly the side garage wall.

 
Inside the house the wall insulation has been installed.

Bulkhead

Saturday 6th December

Carpenters installed the framework for the bulkhead in the kitchen today

Bricks Day 8 & 9 + Electrical Rough In and Plaster Delivery

Thursday 4th December

Bricks continued around the front of the house

 

Friday 5th December

They started bricking the garage.

Electrical was roughed in including the TV antenna. 

 

Plaster was also delivered.
