Friday 27th February
A really busy day today at site .........
Final color of the render has started to be put on today - We like it!!
They also rendered the Terrace wall outside our bedroom (not the final color!)
The sparky's got all the lights working throughout the house and seemed to have fitted off all other electrical items. The appliances will be installed and wired post hand over as we are supplying the cook top, oven and range hood, not Porter Davis.
The ugly chinaman hat lights are only temporary. Again, we will have the actual feature light/s and fans installed post hand over.
Gas has been ran to the house. They were digging a big hole on the other side of Waterview Drv and have trenched up the drive and to the meter lcoation. I take it the meter and connection to the house are to follow.
And finally the windows have had a trim/s installed between window frame and brickwork. They also installed a flashing above the sliding doors.
Wednesday 25th February
Something seems to be happening most days at the block.
Today the termite protection has been installed. A few of these filler boxes are positioned around house with an orange tube running around perimeter.
Plasterer has also been and completed the cornice to the ensuite.
Monday 23rd February
A few more things have been completed late Friday, over the weekend and today.
Friday 20th February
Plumbers were at site today and have installed toilets, baths, basins and shower heads.
The tiler grouted the balcony tiles and finished laying the terrace tiles.
Just as we were leaving the plasters arrived to install cornice to the garage.
Thursday 20th February
We didn't get to check out the progress of the tiling/grouting yesterday as the tilers didn't leave until after dark!!
Another busy today including the start of the plumbing fit off. Downstairs has been grouted, gutters/flashing installed to garage, basins and sinks have started to be installed, door handles put on throughout the house and the terrace tiling has started.
Oh, and we have a front door. Not the one we selected but PD are sorting it out.
Monday 17th February
Just 1 tiler at site for the start of a new week. Looks like he's been working on the niches to the showers and the perimeter in the Living Room.
Tuesday 18th February
More tilling down stairs to the Living and Dinning areas. And we have grout to the upstairs bathrooms.
